Senior Financial Accountant (external)

£70,000 - £80,000 per annum
A global general insurance business is looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join their Group Finance Team based in Central London. In this role you will be responsible for the day to day running of all external financial obligations, including reporting whilst managing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Duties of the role include:
* Preparation of statutory accounts
* Work closely with the audit communications team to resolve any audit queries
* Liaise with the Head of Reporting to implement new software in replace of excel for use on statutory reports
* Manage all internal Share Market Share accounting
* Manage all accounting needs for the internal and external dividends
* Support the Group Head of Tax with annual reporting and ad-hoc tasks
For this role, you should be:
* A fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
* At least 5 years of experience within insurance
* Process improvement abilities
* Efficient communication skills
* A self-starter
