Technical Accountant

Company client is recruiting for a Technical Accountant to join a team of 7 in London on a permanent, full time basis. Our client is one of the worlds largest insurance groups and a leader in the delivery of global insurance solutions for corporate businesses.
Each Technical Accountant looks after a mixed panel across Inter company, Captives, Broker and Co-insurer accounts. The purpose of this role is to carry out all aspects of insurance accounting for the UK branch.
The Responsibilities include;
* Sending out monthly broker statements.
* Liaising with brokers in order to obtain payments or premiums due.
* Investigating and working closely with the underwriting and operations teams to resolve queries.
* Raising any broker payments that are due from the client and ensuring all ledgers are kept up to date on any payments received or paid out.
* Responsible for updating the daily bank log (Bankline).
To be successful for this role we are looking for;
* A minimum of 3 years experience in credit control or a similar role.
* A confident communicator.
* A confident user of Microsoft, Specifically Excel, Outlook and MS Teams.
* Experience of the London market and an understanding of slips.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
