Company client is recruiting a Senior Technical Accountant on behald of a client to join the team in Bristol. Client is the UKs leading specialist legal expenses insurer , providing cover to almost 7 million customers. You would be joining a fast paced and friendly finance department.
The successful candidate will take a leading role in holding responsibility for the below:
* Annual Accounts.
* IFRS 17.
* SII Reporting.
* Reviewing and Implementing AR&A reporting standards and ensuring compliance.
* Producing and reviewing quarterly and annual SII and IFRS 17 returns, Providing analysis to senior stakeholders and ensuring accuracy.
* Reviewing packs including monthly Exec, Audit Committee and board with respect to IFRS 17 and SII.
What we are looking for in a suitable candidate;
* We are keen to hear from Qualified Accountants with previous experience in financial reporting and analysis.
* Experience within the insurance sector.
* Be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, with the ability to to communicate with Finance professionals.
* Able to think independently and take ownership of their own work
