An Investment Management Firm is looking for a Senior Data engineer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on Data Engineer to be responsible for gathering business requirements and translating them technical solutions that will automate the risk teams BAU Activity & Processes, whilst working alongside the Business to achieve completion of a green field project.
Responsibilities:
* Build scalable ETL pipelines using modern data warehouse framework on Azure platform.
* Build data pipelines using Azure Synapse Analytics.
* Build Power BI reports, publish to Power BI workspaces & Apps & secure through AAD integration.
* Create, test, and deploy production ETL / ELT data pipelines and associated software components.
Skills required:
* Experienced Azure Data Engineer with significant BI expertise.
* Demonstrated commercial experience as a Data Engineer, able to T-SQL code with unit test framework and industry best practices.
* Significant experience in Azure platform, Azure Data Factory / Synapse Analytics Workspace, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage Accounts.
* Proven experience in python.
* Experience in creating Power BI Dashboards.
* Good communication skills - (written and verbal)
