You will play a pivotal role in supporting the Bank in delivering its regulatory and statutory obligations.

For a talented Regulatory Compliance Specialist to my Challenger Fintech Banking Client.
Joining the Compliance function, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Bank in delivering its regulatory and statutory obligations in a way that is easy for customers to understand.
As a central function, their role covers multiple product lines and is instrumental in ensuring the business can operate successfully and within the regulatory parameters.
Working closely with teams, you will provide all business lines (consumer credit, savings, mortgages) with advice and guidance on the interpretation and application of regulation, with a particular focus on customer communication, Financial Promotions and other regulatory documentation.
Working closely with colleagues across Operations, Legal and Marketing, you will be responsible for ensuring that the right information is provided to the right customers at the right time, helping teams develop and refine product offerings in a compliant and customer-focused way with focus on Consumer Duty and customer outcomes.
What is important is that you have previous experience within a compliance advisory, risk or legal function within a financial services setting.
You will have broad knowledge of regulations in relation to our product types - mortgages, savings, consumer credit and UK GDPR, with the ability to balance regulatory and conduct risks with regulatory expectations.
Good stakeholder management and communication skills, as you will be working with people at all levels across the business.
Hybrid working
The role will be on a hybrid working arrangement, 3 days a week from the clients Basingstoke office.
