Proposition Development Lead - Capital / Asset Modelling
Location: London / hybrid working
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a growing life insurer. You will contribute to the specification, development, strategy and testing of investment products, strategies and propositions, including the development of asset and capital models, analysing a range of financial and actuarial data, making recommendations to Senior Actuaries and Senior Management to support decision making.
You will lead projects or elements of large scale projects to support the business and act as an actuarial subject matter expert for capital and investment modelling done within the structuring team to ensure specialist input is provided to business decision making.
Experience required:
* Extensive asset and capital modelling experience applied to investment products and strategies
* Ability to develop and analyse hedging strategies and programs for investment products
* Apply a high level of knowledge and understanding of technical software (where fluency in Python and VBA are essential), regulation, proposition, systems and processes and changes in the external market place as relevant for role
* Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the structuring team, providing technical leadership in key areas of expertise and representing the business area appropriately within cross divisional projects.
