Product Engineer IC Design

A leading technology company specialising in Electronic IC design. They enable the creation of the most complex integrated circuits and systems-on-chip (SoCs) for a variety of industries, including automotive, aerospace, consumer electronics, and healthcare.
The tools are the industry standard for custom analog and mixed-signal IC design, and they are looking for a talented engineer to join our team.
Job Description:
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing new features and enhancements for the software tool platform. You will collaborate with a team of talented engineers and product managers to ensure that our solutions meet the needs of our customers in a timely and effective manner. You will work on a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
* Developing new features and enhancements for the platform
* Identifying and fixing defects
* Collaborating with product managers to understand customer needs and requirements
* Writing technical documentation and training materials
* Providing technical support to customers as needed
To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
* Some knowledge of Cadence Virtuoso software and the surrounding ecosystem
* Experience with scripting languages such as Tcl, Python.
* Understanding of analog and mixed-signal IC design concepts
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
