Part time Evening Cleaner
West Sussex
£10.50 per hour
Hours Monday to Friday either 4pm to 8pm or 4.30 pm to 8.30.pm (20 hours per week) car owner driver parking on site. Hourly rate £10.50. per hour (increase from 1st Sept)Statutory Holidays pro rata.
To perform all domestic cleaning duties in the allocated Teaching Classrooms and Changing Rooms
- Empty bins daily in offices, and common rooms
- Hoover carpets daily
- Wipe down desks daily in classrooms
- Wet mop floors as necessary in changing rooms
- Clean all glass doors and panels
- Dust down and polish surfaces
- Clean window sills toilets and sinks, replenish toilet rolls and soap dispensers
- Clean the school uniform shop daily
- Keep clean the School vehicle interiors
To co-ordinate with the Senior Cleaner, Caretaker and Facilities Manager regarding their requirement for cleaning and arising.
To provide cleaning cover as may be from time to time required.
Accompany external household contractors when on site.
Liaise with the Senior Cleaner regarding the cleaning products stock levels.
Check that areas are maintained to a good standard and report damage as appropriate.
Liaise with the maintenance department on maintenance – breakages, replacement keys to ensure any issues are promptly followed up.
To perform any reasonable request by the Bursar.
