We are currently looking for a Cloud Engineer to work within an industry leading technology business within the UK, this company are hiring because of continued success over recent years!

This Cloud engineer will be joining an already established infrastructure team within a business where collaboration and career progression is encouraged. You will have the ability to work with the latest technologies as tech is at the forefront of this company!

You will be working in an Azure Cloud infrastructure environment and will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the organisations Azure cloud environment ensuring it is stable, secure and performs to the standards that the business require.

Key Responsibilities:

* You will design, deploy, and maintain the Azure cloud Infrastructure environment.
* Implement security measures within the environment, monitoring for potential threats.
* Troubleshoot and problem solve technical issues related in the Azure Cloud infrastructure environment.
* Stay relevant and up to date with new features on the Azure platform making recommendations for improvements to be made within cloud infrastructure.
* Drive automation and best practice solutions using the Azure tool stack.
* Driving a continuous improvement mindset across the infrastructure team to ensure fast-paced deliveries of new features and products.
* At times there may be a need to assist with more complex requirements where escalations have been made.
* Participate in an on-call rota, supporting emergency events / escalations as needed.

Technologies Used:

* Strong knowledge of Azure services - Virtualisation, storage, networking & security.
* Azure administration experience.
* Azure M Scripting.
* Understanding of cloud migration methodologies.
* Cloud security best practices.
* Azure (Or Cloud Equivalent - AWS, Google Cloud, etc.).

Ideally this person will have a strong Cloud background within infrastructure, with experience across a broad range of cloud tools / systems / technologies.

Must be within a commutable distance of Manchester due to the nature of the role for a hybrid working approach.
