Balance Sheet Reconciliation lead

I am currently working with a leading consumer goods client who are looking to source a Balance Sheet Reconciliation lead to work within their Manchester office, helping to play a crucial part in revamping and enhancing the balance sheet reconciliations. This role would require adhoc travel to the office once a week and four times working from home.
Role requirements:
* Redesign and improve a high volume of balance sheet reconciliation.
* Escalate risks to senior management and offer suggestions on how to manage risks.
* Oversee the updating of the reconciliation procedure manuals to make sure they are up to date and correct.
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement that can be applied within end-to-end reconciliation processes.
* Train other members of staff on the new and enhanced balance sheet reconciliation process.
Profile requirements:
* Hold an accountancy qualification ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
* Proven experience in balance sheet reconciliation.
* Work with key stakeholders within the business, challenging and influencing where necessary.
